Client: The Globe and Mail
A web animation for Canada 150th anniversary's project with the Globe and Mail. The animation was paired with a short fiction on the invention of the foghorn in foggy Atlantic Canada in the 19th century.

Of better quality than GIFs, and more flexible than video,
SVGs are fast-loading and lightweight vector graphics that can be animated and made interactive with Javascript, opening many possibilities for illustrations to be used for interactive storytelling on the web.
