Client: Wealthscope

The mission: Enabling and educating people on their investments, by putting sophisticated financial management tools previously inaccessible into people’s hands in an intuitive way.

My role: Lead UI/UX designer
My work consisted in developing a unique and recognisable, while improving the user's navigation experience across a complex platform loaded with diverse information.
In essence, to make financial investments intuitive.

Tasks included:
-Brand design
- UI design
- UX design & research

The following images are some prototypes resulting from the UI/UX layout design work:

Website landing page design.

Interface Language Design
Developed a language system for displaying information cards containing data charts.

The UI design language also involved using colour and layout to communicate.

UX testing and Prototyping
A lot of time was spent going back and forth between interface design layouts, focusing on how to best present the most valuable information at the right time, in a easily digestible format for users.
Sample focus question: "Can users understand the gist of the information presented under 7 seconds?"

Branding & UI
Early stages also included developing a recognisable and unique brand for the platform and company. We decided to aim for a "warmer" identity than commonly found brands in the financial / investment industry.
These are just some of the colour exploration sketches.
